My life's mission wasn’t always clear—it has taken shape gradually, shaped by the journeys I’ve walked and the people who’ve influenced me along the way. Today, it is grounded in a simple yet powerful truth: creativity, when driven by purpose, has the power to transform lives and societies.

I believe in transformational entrepreneurship—a model where business, art and innovation converge to solve real-world challenges, uplift human dignity, and unlock untapped potential.

This conviction has inspired me to launch and grow several impactful initiatives. Each one is a direct response to real needs I’ve witnessed in my community and beyond—a need for opportunity, for expression, for leadership, and for creative spaces that empower rather than exploit.

'Art with a Cause'

What began in 2012 as a small family-run venture between my mother and me—providing art-related services—has grown into a fully-fledged organization with a powerful mission. In 2024, we redefined our identity and became the Dormi Arts Initiative, a social enterprise driven by one central purpose: to bridge the gap between raw talent and real opportunity.

Over the years, I saw the same story play out again and again—young, gifted creatives full of potential, yet stuck in environments that lacked the guidance, exposure and resources needed to turn their talent into sustainable careers. In Uganda and many underserved communities like it, art and creativity are often overlooked or underutilized, despite their enormous potential to drive transformation and innovation.

 

As a social enterprise, we use art not just as a medium of expression but as a tool for empowerment, social impact and economic growth. We offer a variety of services and initiatives designed to:

  • Enhance the quality of creative productions through mentorship and technical support.
  • Foster innovation by encouraging bold, interdisciplinary artistic exploration.
  • Create employment opportunities for young creatives.
  • Expand market access for local artists through exhibitions, commissions and digital platforms.
  • Cultivate artistic appreciation in communities that often lack exposure to the arts.
  • Promote environmental sustainability by integrating eco-conscious practices in art creation.

TANGAZA MUSIC INC.

Music Company

Based in Uganda

 

"Tangaza" means to announce, to proclaim, to make known - and that is exactly what we set out to do: announce stories, emotions and truths through the power of music.

Tangaza Music Inc. was born from a passion for using music as a transformative force. Founded in Uganda, Tangaza started as a grassroots initiative by artists and dreamers who believed that music could be more than entertainment—it could be a tool for healing, storytelling and social change. What began as small, intimate performances and collaborations has since grown into a dynamic music company dedicated to producing meaningful soundscapes, nurturing homegrown talent and creating immersive musical experiences that touch lives.

At our core, we exist to create and perform music that resonates—music that carries messages of hope, justice, identity and joy. We are equally committed to discovering and developing emerging musical talents, equipping them with the resources, mentorship and platforms they need to grow and thrive.

Through our work, we aim to build a creative community where artists are supported, audiences are moved and music becomes a bridge between hearts and cultures. Tangaza Music Inc. is not just a company; it's a movement—proclaiming purpose through every note.

CAMPUS IGNITE

Event Series

 Inholland University - Haarlem

 

This initiative is a space where students can come together through music, storytelling and honest conversation to inspire and uplift one another.

Campus Ignite is a student-led initiative I started at Inholland University in Haarlem with the aim of creating meaningful connection, expression and growth among students. Since joining the university in 2024, I was struck by the incredible diversity surrounding me—students from all over the world and industry professionals, all sharing the same space. Yet beyond the lectures and group projects, I realized something was missing.

We pass each other every day, often not knowing anything beyond each other’s names—yet each of us carries untold stories, talents, dreams and experiences that are rarely shared.

Through Campus Ignite, I set out to change something about that. This initiative is a space where students can come together through music, storytelling and honest conversation to inspire and uplift one another. It’s a platform for creative expression, personal growth and community building—where talents are seen, voices are heard and every story has the power to spark transformation.

My hope is to build a campus culture where students don’t just study side by side—but grow, connect and dream together.

The Story Behind Kunst Elevate

As an artist with a deep desire to create beyond the canvas, I founded Kunst Elevate out of a conviction that art should do more than decorate walls—it should move hearts, shift minds and spark real change. Born from my journey as a creative and entrepreneur in the Netherlands, Kunst Elevate is a reflection of my mission to align creativity with purpose.

I started small, with just my own artworks and a vision: to build a platform where every piece of art has something important to say—whether about climate, justice, mental health, or equality. Over time, I see Kunst Elevate  grow into a space that uplifts other impact-driven artists, encourages public dialogue and supports causes that matter.
